Highland Monster Series.

Awsome racing saturday night in the latemodel division, Feger,Korte,Bailey, put on one hell of a show for a few laps, until Bailey stopped on turn 3-4 to bring out the caution, i think the 78 car had something to do with that. overall it was some hard racing and was very exciting to watch, well worth the money.

ya chad zoberist screwed up baileys car and its the second time zoberist has screwed bailey out of a possible feature win

I hope Scotty Depew has a nice big silver platter to hand Zobrist that championship on. Why did he let so many cars in the feature? I know lap cars are part of racing but almost if not all of the yellows were caused by cars that should not have been out there. A track Highland's size should have 18 cars in it unless someone in the points race needs a provisional. There is an old theory that says you're only as good as the stupidest thing you thing you ever did. Highland got a big black eye tonight.

Zobrist didnt have anything to do with screwing up Bailey's car when Bailey tried to root the lap car of Jacober off the bottom and it didnt work out to his advantage is when Bailey's car broke. Also Zobrist was above Bailey and Jacober when the 81 car car ended up breaking.

Zobrist was below the 81 goin in the corner, korte was on the outside of 81. Tough break for Bailey, looked like a racing incident to me.

MMT Rules call for a 20 car feature per their website. As we know, additional provisionals are at the track's discretion.

I thought last nights race was very entertaining. To say that this is a black eye for Highland is simply inaccurate. In the past, this race would have been a freight train on a rubbered up surface. Thanks to track work at intermission, the feature was awesome from start to finish.

That part I agree with you 100% but the only car that deserved a provisional was the Salty Dog. The 5 car should not have been out there if he couldn't race his way in.

the 78 car was the one that caused Baileys problems, in the feature. when Bailey tried rooting jacober as you say, the only damage done then was the front skirting of the car. this damage was in the rear of the car, at least that is where they were looking. it doesnt matter much now it is over.makes for an exciting next few weeks at highland though. was some darn good racing in all classes. Kudos to the Highland speedway for having such a good program. cant wait until next weeks program.

Yap thats how it went down, just racing the lap (5) car got in the way and could not or would not move over and thats how the old ball bounces. Moonflow would have been real happy Fager put on a hell of a show but Korte was right there. I have not been there in some time but it was great. The kisd spent a ton of time in the pits and a big thank you to Mark Faust for spending a ton of time talking to James and Bryan. They both learned alot last night. Oh ya Hats off to the KIDZMOD class they shure looked good out there. Bryan says that might just be his next step:eek::D

it was good hard racing.the number 5 lap car did his job run his line.he did get in the way but thats racing.the 78 did get into bailey but i can assure it was a racing accident.I was in the grandstand sitting next to some bailey fans and they threw there beer cups on the track.im sry but that was uncalled for.ppl like this should be banned for the track.

I wasn't able to make it down from Bloomington last night -- the guys said the track was very racey and the race was excellent.

It seemed to me like Bailey had 2-3 laps to jump to the middle to get around Jacober. Bailey is a good driver and has shown some promise in the little time he's been in a late model, but I don't think he's had enough practice with lap traffic.

I was told one of them got sent to jail over it. More to it than meets the eye.

i left at same time the guy was just escorted out i didnt c no handcuffs get put on and the sercurity only walked him to the entrance gate

Ya I was told that during the last race they were worried since he had a trailer in the pits he was going to walk around to the pit gate. Something happend outside with sercurity but no one heard if it turned out bad for him. Hope not pop happens anyone take a beer bath?

If the posted results are correct, they had 24 cars and ran a consi then started all 24 cars in the feature. Why? If they would have canceled the consi or kept the backmarkers out of the feature, they would have had time for the Street Stock feature.

Scott decided to let all cars start, the four that shouldnt of started the feature took a pay cut to start it. He wanted to be nice to the guys that support him. Thanks Scott!! Good to see the Salty Dog go from 21st to 8th!!!
