Highland Speedway is excited to present a Season Kickoff BBQ & Beer Dance and Car Show at the Madison County Fairgrounds Expo Hall on Saturday, February 23, 2013. All the proceeds from this fun event will go directly to the 2013 Highland Speedway Point Fund. Tickets will be available at the following businesses; First Mid Illinois Bank & Trust in Highland, The Bank of Edwardsville in Highland, Oberbeck Grain Co in Highland and New Douglas, Hamel Coop Grain Co in Hamel, and Willis Insurance in Troy. This night will include a silent auction, raffles, the Whiskey River Band, and more!!! You will be able to purchase your UMP Membership at this event and receive a $20 discount!!!

We are working hard to be able to offer our competitors a guaranteed point fund for 2013. We would like to be able to offer a $24,000 point fund. This points fund payout will depend on the success of our season kickoff dance, as ALL Proceeds from this dance will go directly to the point fund. All paid pit parking spots will go directly towards the 2013 points fund. We will publish the guaranteed point fund before the season begins on March 16th. We are hoping to be able to offer the following point fund if our fundraising is successful. The point fund could grow to more depending on the success of this event and Highland Speedway's fundraising efforts!!!!

Mail a check to Highland Speedway, Attn: Sue Zobrist, PO BOX 111, Highland, IL 62249. We will mail you your tickets after we receive your payment. Payment must be postmarked by Feb. 16, 2013 if you are going to use this method.

We are excited to annouce that we are adding a gun raffle to the Season Kickoff BBQ & Beer Dance and Car Show.

We will be selling raffle tickets for $10 each. You do not need to be present to win, however you must have a valid FOID card to win. 2 Chances to win, a Taurus 9mm. Winning tickets will be drawn at the event.
