BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- (March 22, 2003) Dillon Huff of Park Hills picked up his first Super Pro ATV top eliminator title of the season Saturday at Big River Sand Drags. Huff had finished in second place with Doug Brown of Bloomsdale taking first, but in the top eliminator race it was Huff taking home the top honor.
In the Pro ATV class, Rick Berry of Farmington was the first place winner with Kyle Bates of Hillsboro taking second. Bates then defeated Berry in the top eliminator race.
In ATV-1, nine-year-old Allie Glatczak of Potosi was both the top eliminator and first place winner while Chase Nguyen of Lake St. Louis captured second place.
This Saturday at Big River Sand Drags the Competition Eliminator class will make it's debut at the track. The class is for the vehicles that would normally race in the Open 4x4, Race Rail, Water Pumper, Off Road Modified classes that post a time of 5.0 seconds or faster on the 300-foot sand track. It will be an all ET time event as the ATV classes will join the Competition Eliminator class for the special day of racing.
