If Randy Korte is not in the top 200 in the nation, than you must believe that the locals here in the St. Louis area are among the absolute worse groups of locals in any are of the country. Is that what you're saying?
 
no we have the best around here, but look at the stats. he aint close to the big dogs like you talk. if hes so big y is he at pevely and not at the topless
 
Korte ran at the Dream this year at Eldora and finish 5th in his heat and I believe broke in the first few laps of the feature. Not sure where he finished.
 
Korte was impressive tonight. My $.02 cents, good competiton makes everyone better. Instead of having him go elsewhere, it seems that others should step up. There seems to be a lot of excuses why he wins a lot. Bottom line is everyone else needs to be better. The PGA hasn't told Tiger he can't play anymore because he's too good. I don't understand the view of "he should race elsewhere." I'm just a fan, but I like watching him race.

Wait a minute, if we have some of the best locals in the country, would it not be reasonable to assume that the best of that group of locals is at least in the top 200 of all late model drivers in the country? By saying that Korte is not even in the top 200, you are not only putting Korte down (your intention was to do so). You're also putting down every driver that competes against him here every week.

The Topless 100 is 2 states away from home and does not offer any UMP points or I-55 raceway points. Randy Korte is the points leader at I-55 raceway and is presently 4th in UMP National points. I'd say this late in the year he's better off racing at home. He usually races at the World 100 every year. He'll probably compete with the big dogs again this year at that race.

At the Dream he made a 24 car field among 178 entrants. Assuming everyone to be equal (not that they are but for math sake) you have about a 1 in 7.5 chance of making the feature. It's a tough field to crack.
 
I am putting him down cause he is scared of competing against the big dogs full time. And if you knew what you was talking about you would realize it. You remind me of the post that said he dont have the $ behind him. DO you know who joe k. is? if not, shut up
 
My post was to say he does run other than local tracks. There were several of our local racers there and can't wait for the World to see them there again.
 
Randy Korte is still the best local racer on a consistant basis in the st.louis area. ed dixon is still good but not like he use to be. Billy Faust hasnt raced in awhile, who else?? Go 00 Team.

I don't think it's anybody's business how much money Joe Kehrer has. It's really easy to spend somebody else's money isn't it?

We're not talking about a guy who is in his 20's or 30's. We're taling about a man who is in his 40's. That's not to say that a guy his age can't tour. I'm just saying that he isn't just some young pup with nothing better to do in his life but hit the road and go racing. If he chooses to run a local schedule, than so be it. He ran the entire UMP Summer Nationals tour. What more do you want? How many guys tried running the Lucas Tour this year only to bail out due to financial constraints, busted equipment, lack of success, or disagrements with tire rule changes?

He knows what he can do and where he can do it. Some might call that cowardly. Others might call that a smart business decision. Yes, this is a business like it or not.
 
im lost did korte not run the summer nationals and lead half of it and finish second to erb who has a win this year at volusia with all the bigg dogs in his rear view hmmmm sounds like korte can run with the big dogs.. and not to say that he cant run world of outlaws or lucas but im sure korte hasnt seen half of the tracks that those serious run making it very hard to run against the great talents on those tours... and the final note korte did run the world of outlaws one year not for sure though but i think the yellow double 00 was the year he did so i could be wrong on that.... the main reason behind any crying is because dixon was almost lapped when he was having a top 5 run hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

why do you guys keep at this? This the 3rd thread(at least) that talks about the same thing!!!! Quit beating a dead horse already. Believe me i am not a korte fan, but this thread started out as The results from Tonight and got turned into a bashing thread. just give it up. I think its getting old.
