according to the weather channel. it looks like the weather is going to cooperate this year. the modifieds will pill drawl, no qualifying. and there will be a dash. first place is $550, second $350, third $250, fourth $175 fifth $150 sixth $125 seventh $110 eighth $90 ninth $75 tenth $65 eleventh $60 12-18 $50

I know there is construction going on north of the race track. Is the speedway still accessible from the north on the outer road, or do we have to come in a different way? Seems I remember reading on here over the winter that an alternate route into the race track would need to be used. Thanks.

yeah thats awful steep..... I was gonna come but not for $40 to get in the pits. I can see an extra $5 or so but good greef...

Not saying it is OK, but the SN purse has increased fairly significantly from last year on bottom end. Especially the payout for the B-Main and such.

I will be making my first trip to Illinois for racing. I plan on being at I57 and farmer city. I was wondering if someone could answer a few questions for both tracks.
1. Is there anywhere for lawn chairs, or is it just stands only?
2. Can we take coolers in, with beer?
3. Is there any major traffic spots I need to miss. (I will be coming from Kentucky)

for I-57 the only place I have ever seen lawn chairs is on the backstrech in the pits, mostly stands seating. They use to allow coolers but no beer. LOL, I keep mine in my vehicle and make trips back and forth. as for traffic, nothing to really speak of, easy to get to off the interstate.
