Go to imca.com pretty much get everything you need. Mods as a car is the same as ump the big difference is no aluminum heads, imca tires, no brake shut offs, there are some imca tracks that will allow aluminum heads you just have to add 50 pounds to the car. We usually run imca rule tracks, tires are probably the best thing they have, counting the four we bought to start with this year have bought 7 for the year about 18 nights of racing.
Missouri drifter, IMCA no longer posts their rules on the website, gotta buy the 9.95 book. Jimmy the link you posted does not work says to report to the webmaster
I have a set of the 2001 rules for IMCA Modifieds and Late Models and the 2003 Sport Mod rules. The only thing that has changed from the 2001 rules is that you can run a Bert or Brinn. If you want a copy PM me with your address and I will mail them to you. Or if you are going to be at Farmington next Sat I can bring them.
I just checked and the rules were posted- now i know thew were not posted earlier - i was looking for them a couple weeks ago and they were offering to mail them for $9.95 plus 2.95 s & h- the claim rule doesnt state motor swap so i guess if you claim you get the motor as is without giving up your motor, just wondering if anyone knows how this works
