DONNELLSON, Iowa (April 12) – Two grand is the minimum the IMCA Modified winner will take home from Lee County Speedway’s Smackdown special this Friday, April 15.
The driver scored in first each time around the track will receive $35 in lap money, so a flag to flag run at Don¬nellson puts the first place share of the purse at more than $3,000. The winner also qualifies for the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.
Another $10 in lap money will be paid each circuit to the second-running driver. National, ButlerBuilt North Central Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded.
Defending race winner Michael Long of Keokuk is among the 20 drivers already pre-registered for the Smack¬down.
He’ll be joined on the track by Adam Birck of Canton, Mo.; Scott Boles and Ryan Cook, both of Mt. Pit passes are $25. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $11 for seniors, $5 for students ages 11-17 and 10 and un¬der get in free.
