Tonight at I-55 sportman class in the feature.Paul belkin Jr was behind Scott Stuppy going into turn 3 and hit the back of Stuppy and Stuppy had to slow down and lost a couple of places and then a couple of laps later, he did the same thing to Nicholson but spun him out. There was a caution and Belkin got his spot back but Nicholson had to go to the rear.If Belkin cause it which he did, then why didnt Nicholson get his spot back and put Belkin in the rear.... A couple of laps later Lowry spun a driver out and he got DQ...... Please explain this to me so I can understand why its ok for 1 driver and not the other  ....Thanks

I saw the same thing. The flagman in that corner said it wasn't his call, but when someone said it was Belkens fault on the radio, Dennis said it wasn't??? Don't understand why they have the corner flagmen if they can't make any calls?

thats because Belkin is ther boy. he has done the same thing at fredericktown, farmington, and brownstown. What ****s is he can do it and it doesn't tear up his own car. Also the #32 sportsman drove threw Prince and Nations and yet again no flag.

belken did the same thing to bobby prince last year as he did to nicholson tonite ,....i guess they have blinders on when he does stuff ! i wonder what would have happened if the tables were turned ???? i bet the #30 would have went to back and good old belken would have remained where he was cause then the flagman would have seen it then ...ohwell it was a fun night anyway . i dont want to come acrosss as anti belken or allied but man sometimes its hard to believe they dont see what everyone else does. see yall next weekend

because if your name is belken or naeger you can do or run whatever you want and allied wont say a thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To answer your question. No..the same "Rules" apply for everyone!!! Which leads me to wonder what they tore down outside away from everyone else last night. Does anyone know? If so, what were the results?
The next thing, Belkin and Stuppy have had their battles for years. Which doesnt surpise me to see how Belkin reacted after Scott passed him in the heat race. Thats been going on for many years now so im not shocked at anything that happens there. But what does surprise me is how he gets away with it with everyone else.
As for the 32 car. Im guessing you gotta stay in it enough to totally flip a car before you get a black flag. Yes i talked to bobby and he did say he came down so it might have been his fault. But the 32 car could have lifted. Unless he's using Michael Waltrips excuse of the throttle sticking.
And as for the officials, no need to run down allieds organization in general. Its just a select few and theres really no need to beat a dead horse because i think we all know what goes on. Although i would like to know if its possible for everyone to be able to pick up the officials frequency, because frankly....i'd love to hear whats said.
Now ive voiced my opinion, so if anyone has any questions or comments, im there every weekend.

Officials frequency

>> Although i would like to know if its possible for everyone to be able to pick up the officials frequency, because frankly....i'd love to hear whats said.

Yes it is possible. I wasn't there last night, but when I am there I have a scanner and headset to listen to the track officials. I will say that there has been little to nothing said in the past few years to think they are playing favorites. I have heard a lot of bad mouthing drivers, but not any favorites.

They have to have their favorites, we all do. But overall I think if you listen to what they say of the radios that they play the calls as fair as they can.

And like us in the stands they don't always see things the same way. One of them sees it one way, and another sees it differently. Same as with us fans, half of us think our driver was cheated, and the other half think their driver did nothing wrong. Even though we all "saw" the same thing.

Get a scanner and a set of headphones (you won't hear it otherwise) and listen in. Makes you realize how hard they try to be fair to everyone.

As far as the tech area for last night, they went to the outside of turns 1&2 primarily because they have an area there with it's own good lighting. And as long as they were there last night doing the tech, they sure didn't want to have to keep the track lights on that entire time by doing the tech on the front stretch. It would have been the same deal with the track lights if they done the tech on the infield.

The tech was open to anyone. Many people came by and checked it out including myself. I took several pictures of the procedures. I did question why they didn't want anyone to see the numbers on their machine, I'm not sure what the machine even did or what the numbers meant, but I know they didn't want people seeing those.

I told myself all morning I wasn't going to comment on the Belken - Nicholson incident, but here it goes.

Belken did get into the back of Nicholson and spun him around. I saw it clearly from my location in turn 4 opening. Belken even acknowledged this after the race that he had gotten into him. He said it was purely and racing deal and nothing intentional. I really think it was a racing deal and he didn't do it on purpose. Belken even said he should of went to the back and Nicholson got his spot back. But AARA has always had the rule of not giving anyone their spot back, they have always been consistant with this rule and Nicholson was going to have to go to the back whether Belken did or not. Fortunately for Belken, the official didn't see it all take place and he was not put to the rear of the field.

I do think the 18 car got a little harsh penalty as he did basically the same thing earlier in the feature to the 01 car and the 18 didn't get sent to the rear, he got put on the infield. I didn't feel his contact with the 01 was any different than Belken's contact with Nicholson.

Naeger didn't get any special treatment last night, he was leading the feature and had a fire under the hood, he kept racing but they put out the caution to stop him and get the fire out. He was then forced to restart on the back.

All in all, I know it is difficult for officials to get all the calls right. Unfortunately it happens and it happens at all tracks and will continue. Everyone is human and sometimes we all don't see things the same way.

you can buy scanners at radio shack, wal-mart or most any other store that sells electronics.

From what I have seen at the few pawn shops I have looked at they want new prices for the used items. Maybe you will have better luck. Me, I would buy a new one.

Didnt see the incident between Nicholson & Belken, but, I want to say THANK YOU to the entire Belken crew for lending my husband their spare gears so he could race last night after his broke in hot laps.
