Jackson Gathers 4 In A Row/Dukes Heads Modified Main

Lebanon,Mo.-Despite Threating weather all around,action continued at the LebanonMidwaySpeedway Friday Night as over 110 teams checked into the pits as 3 new winners would find victory lane in an action packed night.
The Superstock feature saw Jason Otto grab the lead on the opening lap only to have Jody Saultz take control on lap 2.With Saultz looking strong,point leader Tony Jackson Jr. would move into second on the 4th lap.With Saultz looking for his first win,a lap 5 yellow would put Jackson on Jody's back bumper.On the restart,Jackson and Salutz battled with Jackson moving into the top spot as a hot battle between Tim Petty,Jason Otto,JC Newell and Matt Pilant was for third.Pilant moved into the runner-up spot on lap 10 as Saultz spun in turn 2. As the checered waved, it was Jackson grabbing his 4th straight win followed by Pilant,Saultz,Otto and a hard charging Dustin moore at the stripe.
The Modified feature saw 20 strong take the green with Robbie Ott grabbing the top spot as Brandon Maggard followed closely.On lap 2,a yellow waved as points contender Eric Hudson got caught-up in turn 2 ending his night as Tony Fatino headed to the pits also_On the restart,Rusty Dukes took over the lead on lap 4 as point leader Wayne Graybeal was coming fast and moved into the top 3 by lap 5.Last weeks winner Jamie Ragland charged from 11th to 5th on lap 5 and the war was on.Graybeal moved into second on lap 6 as Maggard was moving back to the front quickly.With Dukes out in front,Graybeal began applying pressure until lap 16 when Graybeal's night ended with rear-end problems moving Maggard into second place. A close call as Dukes was moving through lapped traffic as contact was made lifting the leader on three wheels as he kept in the throttle.As the checkered flew Dukes grabbed his first win at the Midway with Brandon Maggard,Jamie Ragland,Tim Brown and Ryan Stacye completing the top 5.
The Winged Sprints would see JP Compton jump from his front row starting spot and lead all 20 laps of the feature to become the 4th different winner this season as John Rowland followed closely as Eric Todd,Dustin Arnall, and Matt Tatro completed the top 5.
The Factorystock feature had Young Micheal Maggard grab the opening lead with Jordan Holloway and newcomer Robert Rydeen in tow.With younf Maggard staying to the bottom,point leader Tim Brown started his charge to the front by going upstairs on the track as Mike Hailman was coming quickly from the 11th starting spot battling with Todd Cook.On lap 9 Brown moved into second as Maggard and Brown wagged a battle kepping the crowd on there feet.On lap 15,Holloway and Cook made contact taking both front runners out of contention as Brown took the lead with Maggard glued to his bumper. Following a restart, last weeks winner Hailman was putting on pressure getting around Robert High and closing quickly.Out in front,Brown grabbed the win followed by Maggard making his first start ever on the Midway,Hailman,High,and a hard charging Randy Berry in the top 5.
The Bomber feature had a wild finish,but provided great racing as Justin Stoufer grabbed the opening lead with Jr.Knudtson following closely.A 6 car breakaway feature Bill Schoen,Tyler Schoen,Mike Piercey,and Dusty Rhoades battling for position.On lap 8,Knudtson and leader Stoufer made contact taking both out as Schoen,T.Schoen,Piercey,Rhoades all slide hard into turn 3 moving Aaron York into the lead with Missy Shaw following closely.On the restart,York pulled away from the field as Shaw spun moving her to the back as points runner-up Dale rodden who qualified from the B feature moved into second and B feature winner Bill Roberts now third.With positions swapping,York grabbed his first win of the season followed by Rodden,Roberts,Carl Weaver, and newcomer Lyle Dietrich at the stripe.
Mini-Stock action had Chuck Kidwell grab the lead with John Wagner Jr following closely as Leon Fellers and point leader Dave Williams were battling in the pack.Newcomer Heath Neil grabbed the lead on lap 5 and looked strong.On lap 10,Williams motored around Kidwell and set his sights on leader Neil for the top spot.2 laps later,Williams moved around to grab the lead and recorded hid third win of the season followed closely by Neil,early leader Kidwell,Ike Moore, and Travis Pruitt.
This Friday Night Regular points show with the SMRS Midgets coming to the Midway as the Sprints will not be racing Friday Night.Sat Night June 11 will feature a special Sat Night event with the Midgets,Winged Sprints,Bombers and a 100 lap Enduro feature.Also on Friday Night the track will attempt for the third time to try kid's bike races for those 10 and under as Friday Night Racing at 8 while Sat Night Racing will start at 7:30
