Billy James made it five for five at the Malden Speedway Friday night.
James held off the late challenge of Todd Hall to pick up the Late Model Feature win. Also making a trip to victory lane were Jeremy Russell in Modifieds, Scott Tracer picked up the win in Hobby Stock, Chris Kelley won in Street Stock, Justin McBroom took the checkered flag in E-Mods, and the team of Tim and Kenny Doublin won in Cruisers.

Billy James led from green to checkered to pick up his fifth Late Model feature win in five trips to the Malden Speedway. James pulled to a two second lead by the second lap but a caution kept him from running off and hiding. Todd Hall, after starting eighth, fought his way through the field to take second midway through the race. Hall closed to James's bumper in lapped traffic on lap 15, but could not mount a passing challenge the rest of the way. Last week's winner Jeff Moss came in third. Scott Gibbs and Gary Springs rounded out the top five. Heat winners were Gibbs and James.

Jeremy Russell of Jonesboro won an excellent duel with Greg King to take the checkered flag in the Modified feature. Russell held off an early challenge with Mike Powers, while King was moving into position to challenge. Russell and King went door to door in the corners with Russell holding the lead down the straights the final five laps of the race. The battle for third was just as close with Shane Stephens winning a three lap side-by-side battle with Jonathan Russell. Mike Powers took fifth. Heat winners were King, Jeremy Russell, and Stephens.

Chris Kelley led one lap of the Street Stock feature, but it was the one that counted the most. Kelley moved up from the ninth starting position to win his first feature of the year. Michael Lack grabbed the lead from the outset and held it for ten laps before being chased down by Scott Wicker. A lap 13 caution set up a two-lap dash for the win. Kelley came around both Wicker and Aaron Darby under the white flag and held off Wicker's turn four challenge for the win. This was Wicker's third second place finish in a row.
A group of four cars went under the checkered flag in formation with Coot Wilson taking third. Michael Lack took fourth, followed by Paul Reeder.
Darby apparently finished fourth but failed the post race vacuum check and forfeited the position. Heat winners were Wilson, Lack, and Wicker.

Justin McBroom picked up his fourth E-Mod feature win of the year Friday night. Jeff Jarrell grabbed the early lead and had an early battle with Jamie Daughhotee. The lead was swapped back and fourth before Daughhotee suffered a spin on lap eight that ended his chance for the win. The caution for Daughhotee's spin was just the break McBroom needed to close the gap on Jarrell. McBroom took the lead coming out of turn two on the restart and held it the rest of the way. Tim Prine moved up late to take second.
Jarrell had to settle for fourth place as he spun coming out of turn four on the final lap surrendering third to Todd Gibbs. Jeff McGhee rounded out the top five. Heat winners were Jarrell and McBroom.
