Debbie Cummins
Bomber Momma #19
Yep, another road trip for Cummins Racing! This is the 2nd one of the season (in March they went to Humboldt, Kansas, for the "Battle of the Bullring"). Jimmy and Bruce are in Fountain City, Wisconsin, for the 4th Annual B-Mod Nationals, a 3-day Race paying $20,000.00 to win on Saturday night. Bruce just called me to say they got to the track and are waiting to park the trailer. This track is along the Mississippi River, just 8 miles north and across the river from Winona, MN. Also attending this huge race from our local area are Robbie Eilers with the 3E, Ryan Eilers with the 3, Steve Maisel with the M41, and Doug Tye with the 4d. There are only 6 drivers from IL signed up and 5 of them are from our area! 162 drivers registered for this race!
Robbie, Ryan, Steve, and Doug were all there yesterday for practice. Jimmy and Bruce left early this morning to make the 8-1/2 hour trip to get there. I'm home with the 2 so far behaving racing dogs but they promise to call and update me on a regular basis. So in the meantime, I will sit here with my Cummins Racing green attire on and wait for good racing results to come my way.
News from yesterday....Steve Maisel was hit by another driver in practice but I'm sure he will have that M41 car looking top-notch again for today. I will post updates on all of our racers when I get them.
Good Luck to all our guys racing up there!!! Stay safe and bring home a winner!!!
