Nothing happening yet. CJ Springer says they are "farming" the track still. I watched Cathy Sugg's live streaming of the B-Mod race at Highland.

I can't get results again, and the line-ups that are posted on Speednet are wrong.

Jimmy finished 10th in his LCQ 2 race so he is done.

Robbie Eilers started on the pole in his A-Mod LCQ race and got 2nd. He is in the B-Main now.

That's it for me. Speednet is not posting the results and just about everybody has fallen asleep by now. Jimmy is done and I guess he and Bruce are watching the rest of the races.

It's just the Eilers now who are still racing. Good Luck boys!

Safe trip home to everyone!

I went to bed last night some time after 2:00 a.m. (by my post above), couldn't take another minute of trying to find results and waiting for news. Bruce and Jimmy stayed up there and watched all the races, which lasted to 4:30 a.m. CJ Springer did too! Thanks for the updates CJ.

At 9:45 a.m. this morning, I texted them to see where they were. Jimmy answered back "Madison, WS" They drove 45 minutes out of fountain City WS and then stopped to nap about 2 hours. Jimmy said Gustin beat Bloomquist by about 5 feet, as photos show, for the A-Mod $40,000 to win race.

A-Mod results are here: http://www.stlracing.com/2016/09/11...modified-win-at-mississippi-thunder-speedway/ Robbie Eilers started 17th and finished 18th in the A-Mod B-Main.

Bruce said he had a good time, but the competition is so fierce up there and the racing is so different than what we have down here...big sweeping track, not tight corners.

Last time I talked to them they were in Illinois near Rockford. Gonna be 2 very tired guys when they get home.

22T Michael Truscott won the B-Mod Feature for the $20,000. Ryan Eilers finished 16th. Way to go Ryan! Jimmy said "Ryan Eilers got tied up in a first lap wreck and got 17th (well, actually 16th, James)." I think he was a little bit off on his numbers due to the time and degree of tiredness. I can't imagine how tired some of these drivers must have been getting all of this in in one day! I'm sure that had to affect their ability to perform.

Jimmy Cummins finished 10th in the LCQ #2 race so he was done, but Doug Tye finished 8th in that race which put him in the Non-Qualifier Two race, where he finished 23rd. Steve Maisel did not start in the LCQ #2 race with Doug and Jimmy. All of these races confuse me! I wonder at how they kept them all straight, doing it all in one day and all.

Complete results for the B-Mod races can be found at: http://www.stlracing.com/2016/09/11...00-b-mod-win-at-mississippi-thunder-speedway/

Now to go out and cut the grass with the ol' #19, then take Booner back to Jimmy and trade him in for Bruce.

Hope you enjoyed my thread. It sure got a lot of hits! Is this a record, Jimmy D?

well i pretty much was terrible every time it counted. i started out pretty fast in the mud but not very good in the slick, so i kept adjusting for that and then ended up on a hammer down track with the car tightened up for the slow dusty slick. Uggghhh. I had fun though, just got to get my car better and get better at making adjustments faster
