John Force interview from Baylor Medical Center

A very lucky man.

The crashes that have involved Force's team this year will have significant impact on the NHRA and all drag racing around the world. I believe what has happened this year will change the safety of drag racing just as Dale Earnhart's death changed the safety in NASCAR.
 
Actually, I consider the NHRA to be one of the safest out there. However, theres not much you can do for a catastrophic tire failure at 315mph.
 
Has anyone heard any updates regarding what exactly happened to his car to cause this? I was able to record it on television but was unable to make any assumptions... Just a curiousity I had...
