Way to go Jammie McMurry wins Daytona 500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not too bad the last few laps, nice to see McMurray win it. Shame they had to rework the track so much.

Glad someone new won it,especially after what he went through not even knowing if he had a ride at the end of last year.

The tears in his eyes said it all. Did you hear him say after the race that now that he won the Daytona 500 he was going to McDonalds and getting a big mac? McMurry will be standing tall now. Great job Jammie keep it up. How about Jr. pooring it on at the end? Not a Jr. fan but he was hooking it up. Glad after hearing his interview he did not win.

I am glad Jr. didn1t win either I would rather see a new winner instead of any of the previous winners the only winner of the Daytona 500 that I was a real fan of was Davey Allson,I used to be a Ford fan so you can see what a disappointment the race has been.I liked Bill elliot as a kid also. But used to pull for Mark Martin to win it year after year to no avail.

if it would have been a different earnhardt behind mcmurray the question would not have been "will he hit him?" it would have been "how hard will he hit him"""but i must say the last lap was exciting..JR sure grew him a pair

I like JR, but there wasn't much to root for till the last lap. But, nonetheless, didn't mind seeing McMurray win either. Good to see a guy not so used to winning that it seems taken for granted.

mcmurry

good to see mcmurry go from winning the latemodel championship in 97 at I-44 speedway to winning the daytona 500 in 2010!!!!!

A bunch of us used to go eat after the races back then and Jamie would often come along. You knew he had some special talent back then and it's great to see him win the Daytona 500. He's not a cocky jerk like some of the Cup drivers.

Jamie

I agree I liked his interview (PER HUMBLE EXCITEMENT) I hope he does not forget where he came from like some drivers have. Like Kenny Wallace what a GREAT Guy he has never forgotten his roots and still lets everyone know and proud off it. I hope this was only one of many. Great coments everyone. :D
