He's scheduled a press conference for tomorrow to announce he and Truex are leaving DEI.
For me this is the beggest move by a NASCAR driver in a long time. I sincerely thought he would take the offer to own the majority of DEI.
Since he's taking the three biggest things about DEI with him --- Truex, Budweiser and of course the Jr. franchise --- it effectively will take DEI out of the discussion of major NASCAR teams.
If Menard's didn't sponsor Paul Menard in the #15, I'm not sure this move wouldn't close the doors of the Garage Mahal.
