Just a thought on the clone wars

How can you cheat when there isn't a uniform set of stock class clone rules for the entire country?. There are many segments of this clone thing, each with their own rules. But if you live an equal distance from two tracks, both running stock clones, and both using their own rules, it's hard to call that cheating. Besides, some folks, like my self, only have an interest in the clones for modified usage. Big bores, stroker cranks, big valves and cams, open ports, Tillotson alcohol carbs, get the HP up there where they will sing a tune. That's not cheating. That's just a different class.

Whats to think about??? Do your homework with the rules in where you participate..the track rules no matter where you race at are non-negotiable! You must understand the inconsistancy of the machining to know how to tech..wich most tracks dont and stands the reason why the different rules from track to track! The small tracks don't want to buy several hunderd dollars in tech equiptment and not know what to do with them currently..they eventualy will. It all boils down to the idiots that cheat in a box stock class which, is developed to be cost effective to race are always the ones crying about the rules when caught! ...the real cheaters just accept it and move on! Run your MODIFIED CLONE in the OPEN class or WAIT INTILL THERE MIGHT BE A MOD CLONE CLASS OR........STFU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW..Mike Clements is an over ego'd Jerk that only wants your money, doesn't care about the economics of racing, and talks about how stupid the box stock clone class is! Mike Clements and stock clone engines should NEVER be used in the same sentence!!!!!!
