SALINA, Kan. -- Last week Salinan Corey Lagroon came very close to taking another win on the season only to become a victim of circumstances and leave the race. This week he redeemed that outing with a feature win in the Belleville Motorsports Modified division.

Lagroon outlasted a star-studded field with Robert Shepard in second, Brandon Massey in third, Danny Morrison in fourth, and Chris Vogan in fifth. Shepard, Brandon Massey, and Jeremy Massey won the heat races.

Josh Rice picked up his third feature win on the year in the Xtreme Motorsports B-Modified division. He was chased to the stripe by Seth Schroer, Fred Traskowsky, and Bob Dauer. Rice, Tyler Sutton, and Kaid Calhoon won the heat races.

After a long drought for a win in the Accurate Electric Front Wheel Compact division Kevin Hackett finally made his way to victory lane, edging out Rooster Rice, Branston Arnder, Brandon Lobdell, and Allen Rice. Wayne Juenemann won the heat race.

Dustin Forsberg took home the win in the Auto House Mod Lite division and chipped a few points off of points leader Tyler Bradshaw's lead. Bud Lee finished second, Justin Kinderknecht third, Tyler Bradshaw fourth, and Chris Unruh fifth.

Jake Hedlund took home his first feature win of the year in the Blind Pig Sports Lounge Hobby Stock division. Hedlund outran points leader Mike Traskowsky for the win followed by Mark Normandin, Tony Slothower, and AJ Hupfer.

Racing continues next Friday night at the Salina Speedway with the Belleville Motorsports Modifieds, Coors Light Stock Cars, Xtreme Motorsports B-Modifieds, Auto House Mod Lites, and Accurate Electric Front Wheel Compacts.
