i know i posted this a week ago but my mom wants documented proof that fred tiede was track record holder at lake hill when it closed down. if anybody has any info on this or knows where i can find some please let me know either here or email redbullrocker21@yahoo.com

Just a thought

You might try to contact Eileen Waters with the St. Louis Auto Racing Fan Club. She is really up on these kind of things. By the way, I saw Fred race many times at Lake Hill. He was a hard charger. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he is the track record holder. I remember one night when he came through the pit gate my brother saying "Tiedes here, everybody else is running for second." He was right, Fred won by 1/2 a lap. Alot of people were surprised when they tore his engine down and found nothing illegal. I suggested they should look for lead in his right foot! I really enjoyed watch him race.
