Larry Shaw Racing BST Colorado Series returns to I-76 for Aug. 13 show

FORT MORGAN, Colo. (Aug. 9) – Round five of the Larry Shaw Racing Blood, Sweat and Tears Colorado Series takes touring IMCA Modifieds back to I-76 Speedway for a Saturday, Aug. 13 show.
The 40-lap main event pays $1,000 to win, a minimum of $100 to start and is a qualifying event for the 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Pit gates at Fort Morgan will open at 3:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 5:45 p.m. with racing to follow.
Spectator admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and kids ages 6-12, and free for youngsters five and under. Pit passes are $25 and entry fee is $20.
Nine previous BST races have been held at I-76. Defending series champion Will Brack is the only repeat winner, with three trophies on his mantle.
One-time visitors to victory lane include Cliff Lawson, Don Shepherd, Jeff Taylor, John Hansen, current series point leader Matt Brack and, most recently, Ricky Alvarado.
