The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is gearing up for the biggest IMCA Modifieds race in the west
LAS VEGAS – Officials at Las Vegas Motor Speedway have released the complete schedule of events for the eighth annual IMCA Modified Duel in the Desert. The event, which will be held at the speedway’s ½ mile dirt track, will take place on November 4-5.
“We’re extremely excited about this year’s event,” said Las Vegas Motor Speedway Senior Director Chris Blair. “In addition to the biggest IMCA Modified race in the Western United States, this year’s show will also feature a complete program for the Western Dirt Late Model Series on Saturday night.”
Friday night’s show features practice, heat races and to of the event’s final preliminary features. On Saturday evening the IMCA Modified show will include four events including the $5,000 to win “Duel in the Desert” and the Western Dirt Late Model Series will feature a complete program of heat races, consolation events and feature.
“It will be a fantastic show that showcases the best Modified and Late Model racers in the West,” continued Blair. “It will cap off an incredible season of short track racing at both Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s Dirt Track and the Bullring.”
