Last night's late model feature @ Highland

it is favortizim, like one person said earlier in the posts . guess you have to hang out with c and the rest of them to get good marks. and someone asked where the photo or video was. we wouldnt want the new camera man to get fired like the time when he got thorntons win and they gave it to someone else.
I have came to this track for 5 years now I enjoy the racing but hate that they play favorites.
maybe if we had some new people running the place things would be diffrent.
your right we do grip and complain about the very terack we visit every weekend , its because we are tired of bs that goes on....
 
if you guys are tired of the bs then dont support the track.i had a couple features won at a track last year and got taken out in plain view,everyone in the stands seen what happen.after the race i got into a fight with the individual that took me out of the feature,i shouldnt have but i did.after that night i let the track know i wouldnt be back to run on their track.a week later the owner called me,apologized and paid me to come back and race at their track,since then i havent had one problem.if you dont like something do something about it,dont sit around and gossip and talk BS...
 
Is everyone about over this. Saturday is almost here again and then you will have some else to ***** about. Someone has to win and someone has to lose. The problem is that when there is such a close call the officials are only human and at a blink of an eye everyone sees something different.

Then they need to not blink at the finish line on the last lap of a very exciting race...and I find it hard to believe that they both blinked at the exact same time...:rolleyes:
 
The finish line is directly in front of the scorers, below the flag stand. I hear it is freshly painted bright orange this year, but hadn't noticed it for myself...
 
Its simply favortism like last yr zobrist would of cried his way off the track. Ya it was a pathetic move on his part doing a slide job a real racer would of raced taylor to the flag fairly and whomever won would of congratulated eachother on a CLEAN fair race. I personally have never been a fan of Zobrist and last yr really set it off when his car owners and all there drunk friends decided to run there mouths and threaten about 6 of us for simply not showing support to him. Oh well lets drop it all and hope taylor can pull a sweet feature win this week we all know dick is a clean hard racer and the best of luck to him. Your never gonna beat the favortism at highland all u can do is get the favortism and family members off the board JMO

Ya i know we kept r cool and just let the cop know we didnt wanna start any trouble and the cop was like why dont you guys just leave we laughed and said weve been here all night. Cop ended up being buddy buddy with him. BUt like always the better people came out on top=)
 
rumor and lies once again

Wow, It is great to see that nothing has changed over the winter. People still come on here just to ***** about almost every aspect of the sport of racing. Most of those people still don't have the guts to post their name they would rather hide behind user names. And when those same people don't know the truth they continue to make up rumors and lies.


I would like to offer my congratulations to Dick Taylor he drove one hell of a race so did Mark Faust and Chad. When It came to the end Chad did put a slide job on Mr. Taylor, but it was a clean slidejob, which according to Highland Speedway is legal as long as no contact was made, which there was not. This was not the first slidejob in the history of dirt track racing nor will it be the last, Just because Chad did it and some of you don't like him, that doesn't make it a dirty move. The finish was close, close enough that neither driver knew who won and nobody's car was tore up, to me it was an excellent feature no matter who won. I hope the rest of the year is half as exciting as the first few weeks have been. In reference to last year, all the comments that were made were incorrect. Chad has no car owners, and please do not hold the actions of some of our fans, who I am sure were under the influence, against Zobrist Motorsports. Also, in reference to Chad pulling off during a feature last year, I can assure you that he did that under the direction of his crew (probably me) and until the people that are complaining, start writing out the checks to Chad, for anything that could break or get tore up trying to pass 18 cars in a handful of laps, and until those same people start showing up to fix the car week in and week out, I am not going to take their opinion into consideration.

Again, Great race Mr. Taylor and Mr. Faust good luck to all this weekend, I hope the races are just as exciting.

It wouldnt make any difference. It was the same way when SARA was there.

As far as favoritism, seems to me everyone will end up bxtchn about something before the end of the year. I just laugh at you all. ITS RACIN. SHXT HAPPENS.
 
Just wondering, how many people who have previously made comments about the officials decision, have actually been in the situation where you have to make the decission on a call that can go either way?? im guessing not very many...cause if all of you can
not get over the fact that good and bad calls will be made, then you better take up chess, or if you prefer, checkers. Also for everyone that just loves to waste everyones time on here by bashing drivers and officials, you either need to get behind the wheel n figure out for yourself that its alot harder than sitting in the stands ****ing down a beer, or just shut the hell up, because u all sound stupid.

I've Said It Before And I'll Say It Again. A Slide Job Executed Right Is A Thing Of Beauty. But........ A Slide Job That Leaves The Guy You Are Trying To Pass With 2 Choices.... 1) Lift And Give It To Me. Or 2) Don't Lift And We Both Crash. That To Me Is A Chicken **** Way To Win A Race. No Matter Who You Are!
