Of my dad, running at St. Charles Speedway, Lake Hill, and possibly I-55 Raceway. He was friends for a long time with Ray Eby(sp?), and had associated with Schrum at times.
His name was August Hyman, most would know him as Gus. Believe he drove a Willys with a number something like backwards 180 or 360...something silly. This would've been back in the 50's and perhaps early 60's.
My dad passed away Monday from pneumonia, he was 84. I would love to have a picture of his car at the track.
