Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Event at
Florence Speedway Has Been Postponed
UNION, KY (June 1, 2013) - Tonight's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event scheduled at Florence Speedway has been postponed. With heavy rains at the track yesterday and forecasts of more heavy rain this afternoon, an agreement has been reached between Florence Speedway and LOLMDS officials to postpone the event. Florence Speedway and LOLMDS officials are looking for a suitable date to reschedule the event.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will take next weekend off before heading to Columbus, MS for the "Clash at the Mag" at Magnolia Motor Speedway on Friday and Saturday June 14-15th. The weekend will kick off on Friday night with Hot Laps, RED BUCK Time Trials and Heat Races. Then on Saturday night the schedule includes B-Mains and a 100-Lap feature event paying $20,000 to win.
