Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Making Final Visit of Season to Creek County This Friday

Inside Line Promotions - DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Aug. 19, 2019) - The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies season is down to a single digit number of races remaining.

The next opportunity to compete comes this Friday at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla., where the series will make its sixth - and final - visit of the year. All three premier divisions - Stock Non-Wing, Winged 'A' Class and Restricted 'A' Class - will race.

Frank Flud continues to lead the Stock Non-Wing and Winged 'A' Class championship standings. He's been dominant in both classes, winning 11 Stock Non-Wing features and 15 Winged 'A' Class main events with the series this season. Flud has won all but one of the series Stock Non-Wing races at Creek County Speedway this season and all five of the Winged 'A' Class events.

Chase Randall scored the other Stock Non-Wing triumph at the track.

Ryan Timms enters this weekend with a 42-point lead over Ryder Laplante in the Restricted 'A' Class championship standings. Two of Timms' 11 series victories this season occurred at Creek County Speedway. Mason Daugherty also has two wins and Rees Moran posted one triumph.

The gates open at 5 p.m. with racing scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. this Friday.

Adult admission is $15 with children ages 10-years-old and younger getting in free.
