(Macon, IL) NASCAR Stars Ken Schrader, Kenny Wallace and Tony Stewart together with respected Track Enterprises, Inc. promoter, Bob Sargent, have formed a new ownership group that has taken ownership of Macon Speedway. When Macon Speedway opens for the 2007 season on March 31, gates will be opening for an aggressive 2007 schedule that includes three NASCAR Nights of Stars.
NASCAR Nights provide the opportunity for fans to meet NASCAR drivers in scheduled autograph sessions plus watch these drivers compete against local favorites. NASCAR Nights are scheduled for May 28, June 14 and July 20 at Macon Speedway.
Advance tickets will go on sale May 1 for the events on May 28 and June 14. Adult admission will be $25, students ages 6 – 12 are $5 and children ages 5 and under will be admitted free. Orders will be taken by mail or phone. Tickets can be purchased with cash, check, money order or charged to VISA or Mastercard. Phone orders will be taken by calling 217-764-3000. Requests can be mailed to Macon Speedway, PO Box 170, Macon, Il 62544.
