(Macon, IL) One might believe the racing at Macon Speedway can’t get any more exciting, but throw in some excellent bonus prizes and thrilling will be an understatement. Macon Speedway is one of only 60 tracks in the nation to participate in the $100,000 Contingency Connection bonus program that rewards racers with product certificates from a variety of national manufacturers. In addition, Macon Speedway racers will be racing for product from Mobil 1 and Hoosier Racing Tires.

Mobil 1 adds to the festivities in Victory Lane. Every feature winner at Macon Speedway in the 2007 season will receive a case of Mobil 1 oil. The world's leading synthetic motor oil, Mobil 1 features a proprietary SuperSyn anti-wear technology that provides performance beyond conventional motor oils. Technology that allows Mobil 1 to exceed the toughest standards of Japanese, European and U.S. car builders -- and to provide exceptional protection against engine wear, under normal or even the most extreme conditions.

On alternating weeks, Modified and Late Model drivers will have the opportunity to take home an extra Hoosier racing tire, compliments of NASCAR star Ken Schrader, co-owner of Macon Speedway. During a brief intermission, a number will be drawn to determine which finishing position – 1 through 15 – will win the extra tire. Late Model racers will have first opportunity for a new Hoosier Racing Tire on April 28. Hoosier Racing Tires, "Designed for Champions", are the official tire of U.M.P. Hoosier takes pride in offering a complete race tire line at an affordable price. Hoosier tires are proudly "Made in the USA".

Contingency Connection product certificates and packages will be provided by a wide variety of race product manufacturers including JE Pistons, Crane Cams, Auto Meter, Comp Cams, Hedman Hedders, RJS Safety Equipment and many more.

The addition of product awards at Macon Speedway gives an extra dimension to the already action-packed, high energy racing fans can expect week after week. Contingency programs continue to develop that will be opportunities for all racers to receive extra products – not only the winners. Weekly racing at Macon Speedway features five UMP sanctioned divisions: Late Model, Modified, Sportsman, Street Stock and Hornet. New for 2007 is the addition of the C.A.R.S. Crate Late Models.

NASCAR Stars Kenny Wallace, Ken Schrader, Tony Stewart and Promoter Bob Sargent purchased Macon Speedway in January of 2007.
