(Macon, IL) Opening Night at Macon Speedway was cut short by heavy rain, but the excitement will carry over to this Saturday night. Kids will be treated Saturday night to a visit by the Easter Bunny who will distribute special eggs as children enter the gates. Many of the Easter eggs will contain certificates for special prizes including bicycles. Weekly racing at Macon Speedway features five UMP sanctioned divisions: Late Model, Modified, Sportsman, Street Stock and Hornet. New for 2007 is the addition of the C.A.R.S. Late Models.

Fans and racers in attendance on Opening Night, March 31, will be able to use their tickets and wristbands as “rain checks” for free admission to the April 7 racing program.

On Saturday, April 7, gates at Macon Speedway will open at 5:00 PM. Racing starts at 7:00.

General Admission is $10.00 for weekly races at Macon Speedway. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Pit admission is $25.

Mark your calendars:
Saturday, April 28, Macon Speedway will host driver/sponsor appreciation with a special time for fans to get their favorite drivers pictures and autographs. Advance reserved seat tickets for NASCAR Nights I and II (May 28 and June 14) will go on sale May 1. On May 5, a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is planned and it will be the first night of Kids Club activities at Macon Speedway.
