Macon Speedway's Beg Ten Series Event This Weekend

MACON SPEEDWAY’S MIDWEST BIG TEN SERIES EVENT THIS WEEKEND!

(Macon, IL)Macon Speedway is excited to host the second race of the popular Midwest Big Ten Series this Saturday night, April 20.Lincoln Speedway and Jacksonville Speedway have teamed up with Macon Speedway for our promotion, the “Midwest Big Ten Series”. Macon Speedway wants to show our appreciation to our loyal Late Model drivers by announcing these huge racer promotions.“Macon Speedway recognizes what outstanding drivers we have on a regular basis and we want to thank them for being so loyal to our racing facility. Macon Speedway acknowledges that without our drivers we could not succeed and we truly value each and every driver”, said owner Bob Sargent.

Lincoln will be hosting the series on Friday night with Macon hosting Saturday night. The three tracks will host a series of ten races to be held in the 2013 season with the four Macon dates being April 20, May 11, June 15 and wrapping up the series on July 20. With a rainout last week at Jacksonville, the drivers will be starting out even this Friday at Lincoln.

Each of the ten races will include larger winnings to the winner of the feature.At the end of the season the points each driver has accumulated in 8 out of 10 races will be totaled and there will be $5,000 distributed throughout the top ten Late Models with the top point fund winner taking home another $2,000!Join in the fun as these drivers compete in the main feature event.

Also racing that night will be Billingsley Towing UMP Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, UMP Sportsman, and UMP 4-cylinder Hornets.

Don't forget to sign up for the Macon Speedway Crazy Kid’s Club this week from 5-7pm under the reserved seating section. The first Crazy Kid’s Blow Out will be on April 20th. We will have Cubs vs. Cards night for the kids. Wear your favorite team’s colors and each team will have their picture taken in victory lane during the track wide autograph session. Be sure not to miss out as we will have games, candy, sports, arts, and crafts from 5-7pm, then followed by the autograph session and pictures on the track around 7:30.

Grandstands open at 5pm with Late Models qualifying at 7pm.

Macon Speedway is located 9 miles south of Decatur, IL on US 51 then 1/2 mile west on Andrews Street, then South on Wiles.
