MARS And MSRA LateModels Battle For Larry Phillips Memorial Title At SpringfieldRaceway Sat Night

Springfield,Mo.-Action returns this Sat Night Sept 19th at the Quick-Quarter of the SpringfieldRaceway as the Mars SuperLateModels and the MSRA(Mid-SouthRacing Association) do battle for the honor of becoming the Larry Phillips Memorial Champion.

The MARS and MSRA LateModels both have an outstanding point chase going on and this weekends action will have a big impact on the championship chase.

Expected entries include MARS point leader Eric Turner,Terry Phillips,Jeremy Payne,Brandon McCormick,Tony Jackson Jr.Heading expected entries from the MSRA Association include points runner-up Jeff Floyd, current point leader Billy Moyer Jr.,Dewayne Hottinger, Jon Kirby and many other regional and local LateModel Drivers as this shapes up to be one of the finest LateModel events in the 4-state area.

Support classes will include A-Mods competing for $500 to win and $100 to start the feature event, SportMods racing for $350 to win and $50 to start,Bombers battling for $250 to win with the minimum amount of cars and the LegendCars.

PitGates open at 3PM with Hotlaps starting at 6:15.Racing will start at 7PM sharp.Local drivers meeting will be held at 6PM.Cutoff time for local classes to draw is at 6:30.Drivers arriving after that will start at the rear with no passing points to be earned.Pitpasses will be $30.

Grandstand gates will open at 5PM and adult admission will be $20 with kids prices remaining at $5 for kids 6-12 and 5 and Under Free.
