McCreery Motorsports Drivers Challenge - Presented by Wayne County Speedway April 6 & 7

McCreery Motorsports has a dream of giving talented drivers a shot to drive competitive midgets in a national series. With this goal in mind, we have decided to put a "talent contest" together to put the winning driver in our car at minimal cost. Our driver challenge will consist of 3 parts, driving, driver feedback, and an interview. We are looking for a well rounded driver with all the skills involved in being a professional racecar driver.

The Format will be an introduction to the car and track with instruction involving starting the car, driving lines, and adjustments to help the car. Every driver will be guaranteed 24 laps in 8 lap segments not including warm up time. After that we will have a cut to the top 8, and they will get 8 more laps. The driving part will be judged by unbias judges that are all hardcore race fans, and will be away from the spectators as to make our contest legit and not about your parents, income, etc. Your preformance will be judged on consistency, improvement, and smoothness. We will have the lap times, but with ever changing dirt that will not be as important. You will also do an interview and will be judged on your speaking skills.

Our first place prize will be a ride in one of our midgets at Powri's Illinois Midget Week (4 races in 4 nights) (www.powri.com). We feel that will be a great way to showcase our driver in front of a good fan base, and against a competitive field of cars. The entry fee for the challenge will be $750. We are only accepting 40 entries to this program we are taking racing resumes. After resumes are reviewed you will be sent a entry blank that will have to be filled out by march 25. We will have EMTS on site and it will be ran like a normal race even though we will only run one car at a time with corner workers, fire ext, and all saftey precautions.

It's not a scam its someone thinking outside of the box for once. Its giving another an opportunity that they may never get.
 
I have worked very hard to get in my position. I have raced on a low budget my whole career. I am lucky enough to get the opportunity to manage the midget portion of McCreery Motorsports. I sure wouldnt scam anyone. I am trying to get local racers a chance to run a midget. My goal is to make this an annual thing and keep improving it every year. Thanks again to everyone who has helped us make this work.

Yes it is 750. Every driver is guaranteed 24 laps which is what you would you are guaranteed for a powri show. 3-5 laps practice, 8 lap heat, 12 lap bmain, and the driver gets their laps alone on the track with radio communication to help with development of the driver. We dont expect everyone to agree with our program we are just trying to run a legit "talent search" to help with the exposure of our race team and our winning driver. We are going to have a camera crew on hand to help with promotion of program. We are hoping to create an annual event, and continue to grow the sport of midget racing.

I don't think you'll find 40 s--ker's that will do this!
 
Come on over and check out our program! If you find one place where I scammed anybody you can run the car at speedweeks. I have run sucessful rentals with no problems. Maybe you think our price is too high (your opinion). We will have 1000+ laps on our cars. Im not going to break down numbers on here but if you are interested further message me.
