I talked to as many people as I could at the banquet and have some news and ideas I'd like to share with other wannabee drivers and car owners. Sometime between now and the 17th, we need to get together and talk. Trying to set up a time and place but I need to hear from you guys, I'd hate to set up a meeting and be the only one to show up. From what I have found out I believe that we have a chance to be heard at the rules meeting but we need to do it in an organized manner. I don't want to come off like some self-appointed spokesman, but if nobody else wants to I will. So please, if you have ideas or suggestions contact me via PM, E-mail, or call me at home (636) 942-3974. If i'm not there leave a message and I'll call you back. Lets get together on this!!!
By the way Dave and Joe, you have a mighty fine trophy you didn't pick up at the banquet, same as everybody else got, shame on you. I'm sure if you want them you'll get it somehow.

Why did you pick that time? I cant make it cause I be at the dome in St. Louis cookin up cakes for the big football game.

Jemima, I'm shocked, I would think this is more important than some old football game ha-ha. I was ready for them cakes, I can almost smell that maple syrup now. Guess I'll have to settle for a Marty burger and a bud lite instead.

The meeting went well, we had 10 drivers show, more would have been better but we had a chance to talk about a few things and came up with some ideas.
I need more phone #s, if you know any, send me a pm or e-mail me. I'd like to talk to more drivers and anyone thinking about building a car.

So what was discussed. I am building one, don't know if it will be ready. It's a Tempo. Two of my friends are building a Chevette, and another one is trying to find one. If you could, would you Pm me what changes you guys are wanting to make. I'm gonna try and make the rules meeting Saturday.

glad to hear it went good wish I could have been there, so what did u guys discuse? im going to try and finish two cars the escort and a s-10 or ranger truck. Don lets try and make a web site. so we can post photos, points and what ever we want i could come over sometime and we could work onit

BigDon, I might have an idea

Bigdon, I might have an idea. I've not discussed it with anyone so this is just a off the top of my head thing, but you know what we might be able to do is make a division of the RAMS Mini Stocks for you so you could be included in our charter. A lot of the mini stocks around the nation have what are called Pony Stocks, thus signifying they are a STOCK class of four-cylinders. Like I said this is just an idea I had off the top of my head and some of our regular members might say "WHAT!" but it might be something worth talking about.

When you get to thinking about it the possibilities are unique and intriguing.

Jeff that sounds like an idea, I'll run it by the guys. We did discuss something of that nature. If I can find your phone# I'll call you and we should have an ear to ear chat.
Crash and Rob, will be sending an e-mail (too many things for PM) as soon as I get all this in order. For the moment though lets say that we are not asking too much and I feel pretty good about the outcome
