It’s been a little over a month since the O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series has gathered, but that will change this Memorial Day weekend as the “Best in the Midwest” take to three tracks over a four night span.

Before the Hoosiers hit the dirt, a couple of the stars of the series will be making in store appearances at O’Reilly Auto Parts stores in Southeast Missouri. Tyler “Top Gun” Thompson will be in appearance from
11-1 on Friday at the Cape Girardeau location on Kingshighway. Jerrod Hull will be in appearance at his hometown O’Reilly located on Main Street from 12-2 on Friday as well with Randy Dukes’ car on display.
Dukes will be on hand as well handing our free tickets to that night’s show.

First up for the series will be a return to the new and improved Benton Race Park in Benton, Missouri. The last event featured tough competition as Danny Smith took to the Southeast Missouri facility and battled it out with defending track champion Tommy Worley, Jr. Benton Race Park promoters Randy Dukes and Billy Clayton have made a number of improvements to the track and the grounds and are excited about hosting the series on May 23rd.

The following night, May 24th, the series heads up the road as they jump across the Mississippi to the Illinois track of Mount Vernon Speedway in Mount Vernon, Illinois. The track features quarter-mile racing at its best, as it has become a highlight for many of the drivers on the series. The mixture of the series’ superstars and local talent will make this a “Don’t Miss” event.

Drivers will have a few options before they get back to the action on Monday, May 26th at Quincy Raceways in Quincy, Illinois. The Quincy track is reconfigured from previous seasons and the car count is expected to be rather high as additional racing opportunities are limited on Memorial Day. Quincy Raceway will also be featuring a high-powered modified event the same evening as a support class.

Discount hotel accommodations have been arranged for the weekend’s events. The America’s Best Inn in Marion, Illinois has generously made arrangements for the series, reservations should be made as soon as possible to get the rate by calling, 618-997-9421. Additional hotel support has been provided by the Route 66 hotel in Springfield, Illinois. Reservations for the Route 66 hotel can be made by calling 888-707-8366.
