Mod Lites at Belle-Clair next season?

Why? Does any other track run them around here? How many cars do you expect regularly?
Why??? Because they want to try something new to bring in the fans. I didn't know what they were until I looked it up... 5/8 scale with motorcycle engines that can go approx. 100 mph. I like the idea and will definately attend.

Doe run is running them once a month in 2016. Grain valley mo ran them weekly in 2015, but not sure of anywhere else close to the STL area that runs them.

Kansas City has a following of mod lites that run at valley and there is a series that usually runs the turkey bowl but I don't know of any in the Stl area. The track should be perfect size for them to put on a good show if they can get a decent car count.

I went to Springfield raceway in October. The legends cars put on the best feature of the night. Mod lites is an entry affordable class which should provide great racing for the fans and drivers.

Wonder if it's a strategy play for them. Cater the small track to smaller cars. Maybe adding them to the micro midget dates?

So they really need this "entry " class with the other ones. Like pro 4. Street stock. Micros.
You might be on to something here.....run street stocks pro 4 micro and mod lites only and do it on a Sunday. Might get more fans and cars than you think.
