Kevin Montgomery Tucson, Arizona (May 24th, 2010) - The Memorial Day holiday dates back to the Civil War and serves to honor the men and women that sacrificed their lives in times of war. While the meaning of this Holiday still holds the same credence, it has evolved into a weekend that represents many meanings for many different people. It means camping trips, fun, racing or just a three day weekend full of relaxation! USA Raceway holds this May weekend to all of those standards as we welcome fans to spend a weekend of camping, fun and racing that kicks off this Friday night.

The Barnett Harley Davidson UMP Modifieds go to war for two complete nights with the winner taking home $1000 for each triumph. The action kicks off Friday night as the campers and cars roll into USA Raceway and get set up for practice festivities with racing starting on Saturday and commencing Sunday.

RC Whitwell is ready for battle as he and expects a large cast of New Mexico warriors to be headed this way. Whitwell captured his second victory of the year this past Saturday night and has a full arsenal ready for the Memorial Day battle. The "Big Un" Nick O'Neil will join Whitwell and the USA Infantry as they set to defend their home turf.

Stormy Scott will lead the New Mexico push from the East as they roll into to town looking to steal the money. Scott has also gained momentum in the region by taking the last two outings in the New Mexico territory. Scott will likely be traveling with fellow rebels from the Gallardo regimen along with the outlaw Jimmy Ray who currently sits 3rd in USA points.

The SCRA Factory Stocks will bring their camping gear along with the return of the Unifirst Super Stocks and mighty Hornets making for an action packed weekend. The Memorial Day celebration begins when general admission tickets go on sale at 4pm for only $12, racing will begin promptly at 6:45pm.

There will be an opportunity for race fans to get a preview of the Memorial Day racers at an open practice slated for May 28th. The festivities will kick off at 6:00pm with grandstand admission free for all those who want a sneak preview.
