Montgomery Wins Again at SFCR

FARMINGTON, Mo. -- (June 25, 2005) After battling Jason Keith and Steve Short for the lead, Timmy Montgomery of Fredericktown took control of the Sprint Car feature with about five laps remaining to pick-up yet another feature win. Terry Babb finished in second place with Joey Montgomery third, Short fourth and Jimmy Hurley fifth. They were followed by Tommy Worley Jr., Korey Weyant, Daniel Adler, Keith Burch and Greg Burns. Keith finished 15th following a minor accident battling for the lead.

Short won the first heat with Keith second and Weyant third. Burns won the second heat with Nathan Higgins second and Joey Montgomery third. Timmy Montgomery won the third heat with Hurley second and Burch third. Short won the trophy dash with Keith second and Timmy Montgomery third.
In the Sportsmen feature, Kevin Mosier of Stoney Point picked up his first feature win of the season after holding off Leonard Betch for the victory. Doug Savage was third with Kasey Nations fourth and Matt Eaton fifth. They were followed by Randy Forster, Shannon Burch (driving the #69 of Kenny Harris), Eric Sarakas, Donnie Mosier and Dustin Homan. Kevin Mosier won the first heat with Chris West second and Forster third. Donnie Mosier won the second heat with Betsch second and Savage third.
In the Modified class, Brent Thompson of Farmington picked up the checkered flag in the feature with Billy "The Kidd" Smith second, Jeremy Greenwalt third, Mike Francis fourth and Danny Resinger fifth. They were followed by R.C. Hovis, Kenny Kennedy, Doug DeClue, Adam Parmeley and Gary Henson.
Alan Conner won the first heat with Lou Dremeier second and Pete Koenig third. Tommy Worley Sr. won the second heat with Greenwalt second and Kasey Burch third. Thompson won the third heat with John Bohn second and Henson third. Smith won the fourth heat with Kennedy second and Joe Clark third. Resinger won the "B main with Francis second and Rick Ruch third.
In the Pure Street class, Theran Pearl of Bismarck won his second feature of the season after edging out Chris Boyd. Wayne Frymire settled for third place with Jeff Beeson fourth and Bill Skaggs fifth. They were followed by Mike Savage, Chris Webb, Matt Capone, Greg Skaggs and Ryan Robbins. Jason Mueller won the first heat with Boyd second and Derek Shipman third. Mark Todd won the second heat with Wayne Frymire second and Keith Beeson third. Pearl won the third heat with Mike Abney second and Webb third.
In the 600cc Multi class, Dustin Barks of Farmington was the feature winner with Tom Dickerman second, Bryan Steele third, Eric Ziegler fourth and Andy Moss fifth. They were followed by Keith Steele, Brad Greer, Jimmy Stearns, Mark Shirshekan and Gesse Calloway. Barks won the first heat with Dickerman second and Moss third. Joey Boyd won the second heat with Bryan Steele second and Ziegler third.
