Center Line, Mich. - With more than 60 entries already confirmed, excitement continues to build as the running of the Mopar Thunder event at Eldora Speedway draws near. Paying $50,000 to win and boasting a total purse exceeding $166,000, sprint car racing fans are gearing up for the second round of non-winged sprint car mania. As the follow-up to last year's Mopar Million Sprint at Eldora, the Mopar Thunder event is shaping up to be the best non-winged sprint car battle of the season.

This year's race will also feature the fast-paced action of the winged warriors from the World of Outlaws and the All Star Circuit of Champions. The combination of the three series is sure to give fans of both types of machines the racing experience of the season.
The outstanding weekend of open-wheel racing at Mopar Thunder kicks off with the All-Star Circuit of Champions on Thursday, August 5, followed by the World of Outlaws on Friday. Mopar Thunder at Eldora, featuring the USAC National Sprint Cars, will wrap up the events on Saturday.
