Donnie Moran Racing's 2003 QPI Tools, Eddies Sunoco, Mastersbilt, Malcuit, Chevrolet Monte Carlo is all loaded up and getting ready to leave Sunday afternoon for a test on Tuesday at East Bay Raceway in Tampa Florida, and then compete for 6 nights in a row the following week at East Bay Raceway starting on February 3rd with 3 nights with The Renegade DirtCar Series and 3 nights with the Xtreme DirtCar Series.
After a short off-season Donnie has regrouped and changed just about everything over the winter. Donnie has decided to go back to what he knows best and works for him and contacted some old close friends and associates, Brad Malcuit of Malcuit Racing engines, Mike Farr of Carrera Shocks and Keith & Tader Masters from MasterSbilt Race Cars, to begin what will return him to victory lane in 2003 "This is the first time I've ever been ready to go this early we've been loaded up since late Friday and I can't wait to get started" Malcuit will head up the 99 team as crew chief and engine builder; Farr & Masters will also lend support as well as advice. Donnie's web site located at www.donniemoran.com was recently rebuilt by Mike Farr and has Donnie's 2003 QPI Tools, Eddies Sunoco, Mastersbilt, Monte Carlo photos as well as his current apparel and tentative 2003 schedule. Donnie did consider for a time of going for his 5th Renegade DirtCar Series title but that's still undec! ided at the current time. Donnie will be racing a lot of different series and is not committed to any at this point. Everyone involved is really excited about Donnie's current program and is looking forward to The 2003 East Bay Winternationals.
