More than 100 Cars Expected for Terre Haute Season Opener!

The much anticipated Terre Haute Action Track season opener is just days away! Saturday, April 9th Midwest Sprint Car Series (MSCS) Sprints, UMP Modifieds & Super Stocks will take part in the Wabash Valley Goodwill/ Clay, Owen, Vigo Solid Waste Spring Fling at the Action Track.

More than 55 sprint drivers have already registered for Saturday’s event. Well-known drivers such as Levi Jones (2004 USAC Valvoline Indiana Sprint Week Champion), Jon Stanbrough (2002 Tony Hulman Classic Winner), Alex Shanks (2004 MSCS Champion), and Kyle Wissmiller. At least 50 UMP Modifieds and Super Stocks are expected to bring the total car count over 100!
The Spring Fling is the first 2005 points race for the MSCS series and first in the nine-race “Route 41 Shoot-out” series, which also ends in Terre Haute on September 24th. Racing for $1500 to win, these sprints are sure to fight to the finish line!

Fans can enjoy the history and tradition of legendary ½ mile with an Infield Family Pack, 2 adult and 2 children’s infield tickets for only $30!

With a sizeable donation of clothing or household items to the Wabash Valley Goodwill, fans can also save $5 off general admission and reserved tickets to the event, regularly $20!
