I am disappointed by the interview Moyer gave to Dirt on Dirt following the race at Quincy. Why would it be so hard to give credit where credit is due?

Rodney Melvin had the best car and clearly out drove Babb for 35 laps, until machanical failure. (Mr smooth how do you know anyway, you could not chase down Babb little lone catch Melvin)

Now that Melvin is powered by a Pro Power motor he is a threat.

The only thing that separates Melvin from BABB and MOYER is ILLEGAL TIRES AND TRACTION CONTROL!

Watch out Melvin just mght be the NEW WEEKEND WORRIER coming in to steal all the 10,000 shows!!

PS for the SHEPP fans that think Melvin wrecked 5s at Macon: ONLY THE GUILTY RUNS FROM THE TOUR!

Have great a 4th of July. See you at the next s/n race.

I miss the days when Mr. Heck and and Mt.Vernon racetrack fixed the races for no cheating Rodney(according to you)to win. I guess everyone cheats somehow.
 
Can you prove any of that BS about the tires and traction control?? And what's up with being the new weekend WORRIER?

Cheating

As far as I know. no one can find cheater tires or traction control.Real SHOES don't need no traction control:confused:

i was wondering when the melvin bashing was going to begin......i guess it is hard for some to realize that Rodney is a great driver AND can keep up with the best of them.....Good Luck Rodney on the rest of the summer nats tour!!!

You may want to keep your piehole closed and let people just "think" you are ignorant, rather than open your mouth and remove all doubt! Why would you get on here and accuse Melvin of having illegal tires and traction control? and please explain to us what it is that Melvin is worried about that makes him a weekend worrier? LMAO

I think he was accusing Babb and Moyer of using traction control and illegal tires.

I'm not going to bash Rodney Melvin, he's one of the best drivers in this region. I think he's rather under rated. He is a regional driver though. Billy Moyer and Shannon Babb both have wins in crown jewel races. Both have actually won the UMP Summer Nationals Championship. These guys are great not because they cheat, but because they are simply better than everyone else. Rodney is good, but he's not Moyer or Babb good. That's just a fact. That doesn't mean he can't compete with those guys and even beat them on any given night. I would say though, that over the long run Babb and/or Moyer would beat Rodney Melvin more than not.

Your post is dead on the money JMcgrew. In the stands (pit) at Paducah I was sitting by some Feger fans,(which I am too) and I told my son, "Moyer all the way"...the fan promptly made a $5 bet with me, and when Feger did indeed pass Moyer, shouted "twenty?"...lol, 2 laps later, Moyer went into his private zip code mode...was simply awesome....Melvin, Feger, and several others are awesome, but guys like Moyer, Bloomer imho are in a class of their own. I simply love to watch them all!!
 
Please post the link to the interview so i can read/watch it so I can see it for myself. As of what I've seen, Moyer didn't have an interview with dirt on dirt after Quincy. I could be wrong. I'd just like to see the interview that you're bashing him and Babb for.
 
on the ump website with the quincy results it showed what moyer said,he said "shannon had the better car".Shannon`s fortunes has turned around since getting that engine from Petroff.

Babb's car was faster than Moyer's and didn't break down like Melvin's did. Obviously, Shannon Babb had the better car. :D
 
Well maybe some of this will take the Shep crap out of reach... I am so tired of hearin the same old garbage week after week. Seems the only thing here are results, pics, and moaning about cheaters, beaters, and ........well, you get the point...

SOOOO.... Anyone hear about the X-NFL player that was gunned down??? Steve McNair... how crazy is that!!! You don't hear about that here... Guess he was no Michael Jackson, sMelvin, Moyer, Babb...yada yadda yadda.....

If you don't like the topics that are being discussed on this board, go elsewhere! I'm sure if you go to an NFL message board, Steve McNair will be the primary topic of discussion.
 
Billy Moyer has dominated on a National level for what, 20 years? That seems like a long time to be a cheater without ever being caught. As far as his comment, I would have to agree with him. Melvin may have had a faster car but Babb obviously had a better car.

Just curious but when did Petroff start building late model motors?
