Feature win number 767 for Mr. Soooooooooth..Great job by Billy and Billy Jr. i was hoping Babb would have got by Shirley and made it Victory Circle 1,2,3..:cool:
 
Was a great race. Liked how Moyer Sr. forced the issue with the lap car, and Shirley was smart to spin the 7....great race by all!..:)

Once Moyer got tired of Shirley blocking him Moyer leaned on him a little, passed him and drove off into a different zip code. The guy is amazing.

I was a bit surprised how outspoken Moyer was regarding Shirleys blocking. He said it 4 or 5 times during the interview.

RAIN! It scared them away. Shame to the people who was going to come missed out on a good feature. The only thing I didnt like is when both Moyer's sandwiched Shirley. Shirley had to let up and thats when it opened the door up for Billy SR. Plus I also think Shirley used up his tires.
 
You can blame technology for that! Everyone has a weather radar in their pocket. It looked like it was going to rain on the radar most of the night and it did rain very hard just a few miles from the track. I'm sure many of them didn't want to risk spending $20 to get and they probably spent twice that much doing something else. Plus, they had the option of the NASCAR race from Bristol on TV.

Billy never disappoints at i-55, congrats. as for as speaking out about shirley, Billy knows he is just a punk.

At 6:00, it was pouring at Hwy 55 and Hwy 141. We were trying to determine if we should go to the track or not. We went to the track anyway, but I'm sure that kept a lot of people away.
 
Isn't blocking part of racing? If Shirely didn't block, Moyer would have passed him much earlier in the race.
 
depends if you want to drive to the trailer or go to the trailer on the wrecker. just about anyone but MOYER would've probably punted shirley.
 
great race!!! but the way to look at it is what would moyer have done in Shirley position, block? or just say ahh u can have 5000, go a head and go, ill finish somewhere else ?? lol but it was a good race and congrats to jr work in the field and to almost win it !
 
wow what a great race moyer is amazing but he knew he had been in a race and believe it or not his son billy jr. almost beat him.
 
Yeh i dont blame Shirley he was trying to protect his spot and realized his time was up at the front.He made Billy make a choice and it made for a great race and nobody came out of it all tore up.
