Mr. Oily & Castrol Race Program at West Plains Motor Speedway

Weekly racing resumed at West Plains Motor Speedway this past Saturday after the long "Show-Me 100" Memorial Day weekend program. Mr. Oily and Castrol of Highland, AR, sponsored the full weekly racing event.
A case of Castrol product was provided to each event winner along with the feature trophies and prize monies.
West Plains' Billy Romans took the IMCA Modified feature win, with Shawn Walsh of Ash Flat, AR, second, followed by Kevin Salter of Batesville, AR, Bill Adams and Kevin Collins, both of West Plains.
Rounding out the top ten modified drivers were Rustin Miller of Houston, MO, Trent Cockrum of West Plains, Jamel Korkis of Cave City, AR, Landon Clinton of Willow Springs, MO and Don Marsh of West Plains.
Dave Wallace of Theodosia, MO, made a return appearance to Victory Lane with his #43 Super Stock. Dee Kelly of Birch Tree, MO, Jesse Brotherton of Pomona, MO, Derald Kelly of Birch Tree, and Stan Ellison of West Plains, rounded out the top five.
In the Hobby Stock feature event Bobby Bryant of West Plains took the honors, with Toby Goodwin of Ash Flat following in second, while Dexter Frost of Birch Tree, Chuck Russell of West Plains, and Tyson Troutman of Houston coming across the finish in that order.
Jeff North of Willow Springs, made a return appearance in Victory Lane after taking the win in the Cruiser feature. Bill Johns of Hardy, AR, Jody Jones of Raymondville, MO, Jason Johnson of Hardy, and Steve Recollet of Ash Flat, were the top five finishers.
In the Front Wheel Drive feature event Patrick Reed of Mtn. View, MO, scored the win. Rounding out the top five were Chris Johnson, Brad Sanders, Truman Poole and Travis Robertson, all of West Plains.
Ben Ledgerwood of Birch Tree, racked up another Youth Hobby Stock feature win and added another first place trophy to his collection. Giving Ben a good race was Jimmy Joe Jones of Raymondville, with Bobby Skinner of Moody, MO, Chris Ratterree and Eric Butler, both of Moody, rounding out the top five.
Next weekend will be the rescheduled Bill's Towing and Johns Auto Body weekly event along with the Hatfield Racing Engine Mid-Season event. Heat race line-ups will be based on points without the traditional draw for position. Features will be lined up in a manner referred to as "straight-up" without an invert. Plaques will be presented to the points leaders.
