mt. vernon gear

We used to run street stocks at Mt.Vernon for many years. Always varied between a 6.00 and 6.50. Depending on which engine, and track conditions. Used to be really dryslick, but this year has been tacky every week.
 
683 to 700 hundred depending on mottor should do ya good been long time since we ran 600 to 650 there tracks changed a lot
 
Yeah the last time i ran there i ran a 6.90. That to me seemed like a really good final gear. Probably wouldnt want to go less that a 6.83 but if you had a 6.66 you could be ok prob. Did you get the car all finished up? Good luck the rest of the year!

Yeah, it has been a long time since I ran those cars. Back then we thought a 6.50 was crazy! I had no idea things had changed that much. Good luck to all you guys this weekend!
