Edit: Put on my big boy pants. Proper call was made so no one got hurt.

Just next time PLEASE make the call a couple hours earlier.

They tried and gave it a good effort to get the track run in. Just to heavy and rough. Thanks for trying rick and crew.

I feel like they made a ligitamite call by cancelling tonight, and they worked right up to the decision. At least Rick gave it an effort to have a good race night, unlike the tracks that didn't try at all, but as we all know everyone has their own opinion. I thrashed all week to get my car ready to run for the very first time tonight, and i'm not too upset about it, at least Rick kept people from getting hurt.

I agree that they made the right call. I was just upset because I spent well over $100 that could have actually got me something. I just wish they had made the call before I drove so far. When you only get 4mpg.. That doesn't help.

Pretty sure by 3:00 a promoter can tell if the track is gonna dry up enough to race on. I've seen other tracks do the same thing knowing early in the day that are not going to race but not telling anyone. They r trying to draw in cars who's tracks they normally race at have cancelled. Get them to buy a pitpass then cancel the show. Now the driver or crew has to come back or they r out money. They should have told everyone earlier so they had a chance to go somewhere else. You guys need to open your eyes!! Just my thoughts

They let everyone in the pits without paying for a pit pass. All the cars tried to pack the track in. If they decided to race, everyone would then go pay for their pit pass. Nobody should have been out of anything other than fuel which may have been significant, but I don't think Rick pocketed anything for last night.

Thanks Rick for tryin It was agreed by all to race if the track could take it and even after Rick said if we wanted to practice it was ok Thanks to Rick and fellow drivers who tried

RICK,if some of the na sayers knew how much it costs just to unlock the gate they would krap,,that said THANKS for the good info on my hauler,it was the release valve,,ford wanted $350 plus, got it at midway truck parts in st.louis for $135,took me longer to put the dash back in place than to install the air lines & test it,,thanks again for the info...lenny g.

He gave everyone that wanted their money back, back. My only complaint is the late late call. That's all.

get over it, They at least tried, just park it for the rest of the year. whine about something significant, at least the track tried and furthermore have you ever been to I-55 or TCS when they rain out and your in the pits you gotta come back or you lose that money.

I am over it if you would open your damn eyes. And yes I've been to a race before that has rained out. But never one that rained out.. Without rain AFTER they told me we were good to go.
