Whatever!!! This stuff has been going on for years in Nascrap... But I may try an Edwards move on somebody out on highway 70...that is a race track too. These cars are bullet proof!!! And don't compare dirt racing with this asphalt crap either. That is totally 2 different things. Like I said on the other thread, this has been the most exciting thing that has happen in Nascar this season, they need more of this. Did you notice the empty seat in the stands? Not good...Not good at all...
 
The seats are getting empty due to the cost to watch one of them shows. Hell me and a buddy went to Chi-town for the Nationwide race last year... $60 for teh VERY top row on the SW side of the stands at the entrance to pit road... OK... it's NOT horrible, but imagine what it is for a FULL weekend with ARCA, Turcks, etc.... shesh.... And YES, WAAASSSScar does need this stuff. They make the cars safer so wack jobs like B.K. don't get hurt when they get paid back a year later :D I loved it!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm dam glad he didn't get hurt, but if Carl would have got him the lap before... BK'd have just spun... Karma's a biatch though!!!!
 
I don't watch enough NASCAR anymore to really be on this thread I suppose but it seems like every time I have watched it recently Carl Edwards is involved in some sort of altercation with someone or asking for forgiveness. Search YouTube for his little deal with Kenseth or just replay all of the "past" instances in your mind that they showed yesterday.

Anger Management classes might not be a bad idea for Mr. Edwards. I was sitting there stunned after that mess. He better be thankful he was only trying to polish his clean cut image through the use of a microphone by "apologizing" to the people at home watching instead of explaining to some parent, grandparent, aunt, or uncle that he killed a child family member or someone's loved one who was sitting in the grandstands that day!

NASCAR and Carl Edwards were both extremely lucky that car did not go through that fence yesterday; it is only a matter of time before it happens. I can already see the screen going blank when it does and the cut away move by the announcers as they fade to black!

what rock have you been living under? they parked harvick for a race, and his infraction was during a truck race. they parked him for the weekend. kenny wallace drove the goodwrench car the next day.
 
Does anyone remember what NACAR told them before Daytona? They told them that they were not going to police it, and it was up to the drivers for that kind of stuff. Just nobody thought that Carl would be in that picture, and everyone has forgot. If it was Kyle Busch, we would all remember that statement. NASCAR owes nothing to Brad or anyone else. That is what they told the drivers. Fans can decide again, LIKE IT USED TO BE.
 
You're right on what NASCAR said, but I can tell you they didn't mean you could go out after being down 150 laps and wreck someone at a 190 + mph. He could have killed someone.

Carl was 100% wrong. I'd like to see NASCAR put in a rule, if you're down XX many laps, you need to park it.

What NASCAR wants was when after the race was over, Carl goes over and discuss it with Brad, and if got into a shove and a few fists flying so be it.

Carl should be parked for the next race or at least the 1st 10 laps.

BTW, I am Carl Edwards fan
 
When your fighting for the win, or even a position and you turn someone around that's fine.

When your a 100 or so laps down, get interviewed and showed the crash that caused you to be 100 laps down (and admit that Kesolowski didn't do any thing wrong), and then purposely crash him at full speed, I'm sorry Carl YOUR PARKED, BUDDIE!!!

I don't mind Carl, other than everyone that I talk to that raced him at Capitol Speedway said that he was an extreme crybaby, and I don't particularly like Kesalowski, this was just WRONG.

NASCAR cannot condone this type of action, even though it makes for great highlight footage, it also shoots their product in the foot. Now watch the tree huggers come from the woodwork to try to stop motorsports events sighting this type of aggression and safety issues.
 
Like I said, I'm all for paybacks when needed and it's a drivers choice as to when he/she sees fit to do it. But, even though this may be a rating booster and be what in a round about way what Nascar wants, a driver has to be a little more discreet when going about it. Nascar can't condone how Carl went about what he did, even if it's what they want them to do.

I am not taking up for Kesalowski by no means. Not a fan of the kid, but geez Edwards was on a mission for a couple laps. You can't have someone blantantly out there head hunting like that. Especially when others can be affected(other drivers and fans). jmo
 
Nascar is loving what happened yesterday. Have you seen all the empty stands lately? They want you to watch the next race on TV just to see if anything happens. Nascar is about $$$$, Carl won't be parked next week.

Everyone should know that nothing will happen next week. If Carl isn't parked he and BK will have all the right things to say.
 
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! STIRRING THE POT IN NASCAR IS WHAT THEY WANTED AND NEEDED Now that Danica is gone what else do we have to watch? Well i for one think Brad had it coming. I am greatful noone was hurt but the only way anyone was going to make that kid learn was to wreck him hard. Carl did just that!! If anyone on here thinks everyone in that garage didnt know this was going to happen your foolin yourself. Every interview conserning Brad was about his agressive driving. And yes this is what nascar wanted and why they never penalized Brad for his actions. Oh and to the guy bashing Dale Sr. his career speaks for itself !!!!!!!!
 
At almost 200 miles per hour that is not pay back that is ignorance. I have always loved Carl but that was a really STUPID move yesterday. Im disappointed. He deserved the black flag and maybe a few races off to think about what COULD have happened !. LD
 
They need to take it up off the track.They are gonna end up killing fans or other drivers.Hard to believe these guys are professionals making millions and out there wrecking someone on purpose.LOL.I guess next week all the drivers will have on Black gloves instead of White.hahaha:D:D

im probobly going to regret this but o well!! bk got what he had coming what more do you expect from someone who came from the jr camp? i dont know who he thinks he is but i can tell you he dont need to come to the cup series and think hes gonna push them boys around,thats what he did and got what was coming to him!so whats all the talk about whats good for the goose is good for the gander!!! i think they should let the drivers handle it and be done with it! HE GOT WHAT HE HAD COMING!!!! carl just got to him b4 someone else did now hes crying for something hes done hisself grow up take it on the chin like a man!!! u want to play with the grown men then take it like a man! hats all i got to say about that!! GOOD JOB CARL!!
 
Thats the problem though.No one is taking it on the chin.They are settling on the track and taking out good cars.If they wanna act like Jack a---- they need to do it in the pits, not on the track.
 
I think he might have a little more respect towards the other drivers now that has happened.If Carl would have done something like Spencer did to Kurt Busch he would be suspended for a race or more, and if he waited til Bristol it would have involved more cars, he is lucky no fans got hurt.
 
A. Thank God nobody was hurt.

B. The comments about killing fans are completely off base. If a car can get in the stands, then the catch fence and the facility are NOT safe enough period. It doesn't matter who wrecked or whether it was intentional????? Cars (and trucks) have wrecked at these high speeds at AMS since it was reconfigured and nobody said anything until this incident??????

C. Kessolowski is not only the walking definition of arrogant, he is IGNORANT on top of it. If you think he will learn from this wreck you are sadly mistaken. He's the kind of guy that if he did get hurt, even to the extent that he had to sit out the remainder of the season, he would continue the same ridiculous antics the first race back after his injuries healed. It is astonishing that a man of Roger Penske's stature would hire such a dolt. He has run over everything but the pace car and now we have people wanting to lynch Carl Edwards???? Edwards was wrong, but at least he is man enough to admit it, and speak openly and truthfully. When Kesolowski wrecks people (weekly) he gives the same old sob story about how he "worked his way up from nothing" and he's "not giving an inch" blah blah blah???? Gee, do you think maybe having a father by the name of "Bob" may have opened some doors for you?
 
Maybe Penske put the wrong guy in the Cup series. Seems as though he has a pretty good Nationwide driver that could have probably made the jump this year!
