NAT’L DIRT LM HALL OF FAME BUILDING NEARING COMPLETION
Riverside, OH --- The new National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame (NDLMHOF) building Phase One project is going ahead full steam according to Bill Holder, Executive Director of the NDLMHOF. The new building, which will house memorabilia from the history of dirt Late Model racing as well as artifacts of the inductees, is making steady progress and should be completed before October 1.
“The concrete has been poured and the sides are up,” stated Holder. “The Phase One building project is going extremely well and extremely fast and I’m delighted with the response and support this project has gotten from the dirt Late Model racing community.”
“We are also surprised and happy that contributions have come in and if we can obtain a few more contributions it’s possible that Phase Two, the second section of the building, could be under roof before winter.”
The new NDLMHOF building Phase One is locate don the grounds of Florence Speedway in Union, KY, just south of Cincinnati, OH.
“Since our 501.C3 Non-Profit Status designation has been made official it has opened the door to a considerable amount of work that needs to be done but I feel with the outstanding positive support from the public and our hard-working Executive Board members we will be up to the task.”
The NDLMHOF Executive Board consists of Holder, Susan Bauer Lee, Tim Lee, Gerald Newton, Jerry King, Ozzie Altman, Doc Lehman, Bret Emrick, James Essex, Rick Eshelman and Tony Hammett.
