Nebraska State Championship special set for Sept. 2 at Beatrice

BEATRICE, Neb. (Aug. 30) – Four IMCA divisions are on the Friday, Sept. 2 Nebraska State Champion-ships card at Beatrice Speedway.
IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start their 2012 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are in the running for $600 to win and a minimum of $75 to start.
IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks run for $400 to win and $50 to start; Mach-1 Sport Compacts vie for $200 to win and $40 to start.
National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded to Modified and Hobby Stock drivers; SportMod and Sport Compact drivers earn national and state points.
Pit passes are $25. Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids and free for six and under. Gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m.
The Nebraska State Championships are sponsored by RevHoney Energy and promoted by S & J Promotions.
