I think they're pretty set on their rules. In my opinion Montgomery should of never allowed berts in the b mods. They never use to when we all started running the class up there years ago. Just switch carbs and run with the a's, or sell the bert and get a non internal clutch tranny.

By the way Thanks Corey and SFCR for allowing the emods again. Now I get to bring the mod out of retirement.

Here's my thought on Berts and Brinns in Bmods, not that it amounts to much, but anyways. In my opinion if they were really worried about price in a bmod they'd still have a 360 max motor pulling vacuum with a 10 1/2 stock appearing clutch like they started out. I would agree back then of not allowing Berts and Brinns because of price difference. Then you opened the motor rules up, which hey whatever. But then the Bmods got to start running triple disc. Well you can buy a good used bert almost as cheap as triple disc set up. I don't even have a modified of any type at the moment so I don't care either way. I'm just saying if it's not about the money then is it "just because"? I'm always more on the side of not allowing more stuff, but you're already there at this point. Just a friendly thought. I see both sides though.

2600 lbs. for B-mods. The rules we are racing under now with the E-mods back on them are the rules that I brought from MCS to try to get this class established in this area 5 yrs.ago.
