1. Drivers must furnish their own car.
2. No one is allowed in race area or pits under the influence of alcohol. Possession of alcoholic beverages in pi area will result in loss of pit pass and expulsion from pits.
3. The sale, possession, or use of illegal drugs you will be arrested.
4. Drivers are responsible for the actions of their crew.
5. Remain it car during event, unless advised by judges for safety reasons to leave car.
6. All drivers and riders must be 16 years of age or older. (Legally licensed) all persons under the age of 16 must have parents or guardian signs a minor waiver.
7. All persons entering the pit area must sign entry form, release form, insurance waiver and purchase pit pass.
8. These items are not allowed in pit area: metal cutting power tools, plasma cutters. Generators maybe used for lighting only, coolers mat have ice only for transmission coolers.
9. All cars will be inspected upon entering the pits. Hoods and trunks must be open.
10. Have 1 minute to hit aggressively hit another active vehicle
11. Must have at least 1 bar attached to middle of windshield to prevent hood from coming in.
12. You may have passenger in cars only, no passengers in trucks or compacts.
13. All drivers and passengers must wear seat belt, approved helmet, long pants and shirt.
14. Entries limited to 1 car per driver per class
15. A driver that receives the black flag for sandbagging or an intentional driver’s door hit will be disqualified from all further completion for that night
16. All vehicles must have front door painted white or black. No profanity, obscene pictures or drawings will be allowed.
17. All cars must be clean on inside and all trim, mirrors ECT. Must be removed before entering the pits.
18. Any and all vehicles found to be illegal will forfeit all entry fees.
19. All drivers and riders must attend pit meeting prior to derby
20. Decision of the judges and derby officials will be final
21. All vehicles must have a roof sign to put numbers on, sign must be a minimum of 18” x 18” and you may just flap the roof for this as long as it is not directly over driver
VEHICLE REGULATIONS
1. Passenger cars or station wagons. No jeep, hearses, checkered cabs, or Chrysler imperials will be allowed. Full sized foreign cars may be of any year. If dashboard is removed, VIN # plate must remain intact & all holes must be covered with rubber, sheet metal, or aluminum, except a 10” x 10” hole directly behind the distributor. Cars previously run in demo derby may install new front clip. Clip must be installed in stock manor.
2. Rear seat of sedans must be removed, top & bottom. Station wagons must have all seats & decking removed & be emptied to floorboards.
3. Must have approved seat belts secured to or around frame.
4. Battery must be moved & securely fastened & and covered in front seat passenger side floorboard. No ratchet straps or bungee cords will be allowed.
5. Any type automotive radiator may be used but must be mounted it stock position. Drivers option to compete without radiator, but must run on water in block only no reserve tanks.

6. Doors may be welded & reinforced. All internal cages will be limited to specific area; they may be installed from base of front windshield to front of the rear arches. Internal cage supports must be attached to flat part of frame rails. All frame seams may be welded. No plating allowed. May be notched
7. Stock gas tanks must be removed from original position & mounted in back seat area. A marine boat tank is recommended. All tanks must have secure cap all lines and fittings must be leak proof electric fuel pumps are permitted but must have shut off within drivers reach. No ratchet straps or bungee cords allowed to secure tank.
8. Any passenger car bumper may be welded or bolted to frame with a maximum of 2” back on frame rails.
9. Hoods must have 2 holes at least 4” in diameter on each side of carburetor - not directly over carburetor. If hood is removed either fan blade bust be removed or fan belt must be removed.
10. All thread will be a maximum of ¾” with up to 6 pieces in hood and up to 6 pieces in trunk. A maximum of 8” diameter washers on all thread. Hoods & trunks may be chained or wired with a maximum of 2 loops. All body bolts may be replaced with up to ¾” all thread or bolts. All thread or washers must not block bore scope holes in frame.
11. Steering components may be fabricated cars must sit dead level, no more than 14” of ground clearance in the middle of the car. Cars originally equipped with rear leaf springs will not be allowed more than 8 leaves in the stack. Stiffness of the suspension will be left to the discretion of the officials.
12. Trailer hitches, class a or frame mounted, must be totally removed, class b or bumper mounted trailer ball stub must be cut off.
13. Any engine or transmission may be used in any car, but must be mounted in stock position. On a v-block motor front spark plugs must be even or in front of upper ball joint, on in line motors #2 spark plug must be even or in front of upper ball joint.
14. Engine cooling system must be drained & flushed free of antifreeze. Air conditioner Freon must be properly evacuated from system. This work must be done upon arrival at race site.
15. Any type of header is allowed but must be directed away from driver compartment
16. Transmission oil coolers are permitted. Mounting, lines & fittings must be approved by inspection personnel.
17. Any automobile rear end (not trucks or later rear ends) can be used in any car. This rule does not mean you can transform a coil spring to leaf spring & hangers must be used. On models originally equipped with coil springs, stock spring or trailing arms must be used. Homemade spring perches or homemade trailing arm brackets may be welded to rear end. All cars will be required to have some give or bounce & installation must be approved by officials.
18. Any drive shaft or u joint may be used. Welding of drive shaft is permitted
19. 2 loops of chain or wire over the stock cross member and around rear end is permitted. No pipe or angle iron may be added.
20. Only 16” or smaller tires & wheels will be allowed. No split rims allowed
21. All wheels & rims must be strictly stock. No welding or reinforcing allowed.

Compact cars
1. Cars shall not exceed 106” wheelbase measured from center of hub to center of hub
2. No convertibles or pacers
3. Cars shall not have engine bigger than 4 or 6 cylinder.
4. No passengers
5. Radiator may be removed but not relocated. Transmission coolers & fans may be relocated.
6. Batteries must be placed in secure position. They must not move when shaken & covered with something non-flammable.
7. Bumpers & fenders may be trimmed.
8. Doors may be welded solid. Doors not welded must be chained or wired shut No welding wagon gates, they must be wired or chained. You may have a cage but must not go further than 3” behind front seat & across dash area cannot be fastened to frame. If you do not run a cage, you may have a bar on each front door but cannot exceed3” in front of doors or 3” pass front door.
9. Hoods, hatches. Trunks, wagon gates must be wired, chained, or bolted shut. If bolts are used a maximum of 6pieces 3/8” in diameter washers no bigger than 6”on hood. None to frame & none in front of radiator. Trunk you may use maximum of 4 pieces 3/8” in diameter washers no bigger than 6” in diameter. If you bolt, no wire or chain may be used. If you wire or chain you may use 2 pieces of up to 3/8” on back of hood only
10. Tanks must be securely fastened down in back seat area. Must not have any movement lines and connectors must be leak proof. No ratchet straps or bungee cords.
11. 4 ply tires only. No water in tires no tires screwed to rims no tire inside of tire.
12. All glass, chrome, pot metal, carpet, headliners, backseat, & anything that is flammable except driver’s seat must be removed before entering fairgrounds.




























Trucks
1. Any American made 2 wheel or 4-wheel drive pickup, blazer, bronco, or suburban. No front drive shafts allowed.
2. All glass, trim, mirrors, ECT. Must be removed prior to entering the pits
3. Oem fuel tanks must be removed.
4. Any engine can be ran in any truck.
5. Fuel tank should be relocated to the bed of the truck against the front of the box. Plastic or metal boat tank
6. Battery must be moved inside the cab and securely fastened and covered.
7. All trucks must have approved seatbelts.
8. Doors must be secured by wire, chain, or welding. Tailgates must be welded shut.
9. Box & cab mount bolt may be replaced with up to ¾” diameter bolts & 8” diameter washers. Body mounts may be removed.
10. A
Box type cage must be built inside the cab of the truck for driver’s safety. All cage installation will be required to pass a inspection by officials. Any truck with out adequate cage will not be allowed to run
11. Stock truck front & rear bumper must be used rear bumpers may be step type or stock.
12. Holes must be cut on both sides of carburetor. Exhaust may exit thru these holes.
13. Hood must be wired, chained, or bolted in 4 places. All thread up ¾” in diameter with up 8” diameter washers.
14. No reinforcement of the frame, bed or sheet metal will be allowed.
15. No ply restriction on tires
16. All trailer hitches must be removed.
17. Bed must be bolted to the cab in 4 places
