FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – October 7, 2012 - The fast quarter mile clay oval at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas is all set to host the 2nd Annual “Oct Topless 40” DIRTCar Late Model Nationals on Friday and Saturday night, October 12-13, 2012 featuring the tracks CVS DIRTCar and Colorado based CLMA DIRTCar late model divisions. Also competing will be the tracks regular weekly divisions of USRA – b mods, factory stocks, pure stocks and non-wing micros.
Below is information on payout and more for both nights of the 2nd annual
Oct Topless weekend.
When: Friday and Saturday night, October 12-13, 2012
Where: Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas
CVS and CLMA DIRTCar late model information: Complete shows both nights with late models competing without roofs. Friday night the gladiators of the late model divisions will compete for $1200 to win and $225 to start the night’s feature finale. Championship Saturday night will see another complete show with the night’s feature finale winner taking home $1500 and pay $250 to start. Entry fee both nights is $100 plus pit pass.
USRA B-mod and factory stocks will run qualifiers on Friday night with the top twelve locked into Saturday nights “A” feature, which will pay $600 to win and $75 to start. Entry fee is $25 plus pit pass each night.
Pure stocks will run qualifiers on Friday night with the top twelve locked into Saturday night’s “A” feature which will pay $400 to win and $75 to start. Entry fee is $25 and pit pass each night. Along with a complete program for the DIRTCar late models on championship Saturday night, highlighted by the forty lap feature finale, the USRA b-mods, factory stock and pure stock divisions will run last chance races as well as their “A” main events.
Friday night the gates will open at 4:00 pm with racing starting at 7:30 pm. Saturday night will see gates open at 3:00 pm and racing slated for a 6:00 pm starting time.
General admission into the grandstands is $8 and $5 for seniors on Friday night and $12 for adults on Saturday night, $5 for seniors. Pit passes both nights are $30.
