Hey Dog, The Wolfmier coupe wasn't a Klien car forget who built her, But That was Mike Hammonds ( Annabelle) (#66 ? ) That Charly Johnson drove for years, then Wolfmiers father in law bought her with John driving, then Hammonds brother bought and raced her, then I bought her in 84 raced her in 85 & 86

thanks john,do you mind if i make some copies of the pic of frank? he is a very good friend of my family, his house burnt about 15 or so years ago. and the picture you posted maybe the last one in existence. and i think he needs some cheerin up last few years his luck aint been real good.

tell ya a lil story, i was 13, frank and and my brother were best friends. and frank was sponsored by vances 66, well my brother worked at coopers shell (was right up the street from the esquire theater.) well it was saturday morning we take this bright red car with vances 66 on the quarter panel in to coopers shell, use one of the bay's and the tow truck to pull a motor and put another in it to get it ready to race that night, just as we got it fired up in walks the owner of the station, lol needless to say he was not a happy camper. lol.

The 10 car was driven I think by Greg Klein. That was a Highland, car, the 33 in back was driven by Steve Brocco (sp?)
thanks for the memories In '81 I was a scorer at Highland and we were invited to Tri City that night as well. If I remember right all other tracks were invited as well and put on a demo of their cars. This was all put together by Robin Lowery. If I remember correctly evryone participating got a certificate from McDonnell Douglas.

Thanks on the help with the names, I was sure who was who from those cars.

Sloppy go ahead and use what you need.

I could of sworn John Wolfmeier bought the old red coupe of Don Klien's. Oh well no matter how about a shot of Rich Wolfmeier from lake hill in 1980.

I was a crew member on the #10 modified. It was driven by Greg Klein of O'Fallon Il. The car was owned by his father Sonny. If my memory sreves me correctly, that was Gregs first time on the fast 1/2 mile and I think we had a top 5 finish that night. Thanks for posting the pictures of my old car. I didn't think there were too many pics left. If you find any more I would appreciate it if you would bring them to the Full Moon party. See you then.
